Description
Daugherty's Orchards is a family run farm located in Murrysville, PA providing fresh fruits and homegrown vegetables to Westmoreland County and the greater Pittsburgh area.

The Orchard offers flowers and herbs in the spring, a variety of fruits, vegetables and sweet corn in the summer, pumpkins, apples and apple cider in the fall and homemade pies year round.

Most of the produce is hand sown, homegrown and fresh picked by members of the Daugherty family. Come enjoy the freshest apple cider and most delicious pies on this side of town!

Raymond and Madge Daugherty founded Daugherty's Orchards in 1947 at its current location in Murrysville, PA. Raymond worked at Westinghouse and started the farm on the side with his wife and family. The farm began as a Peach Orchard and was the largest in Westmoreland County. He ran a successful business until he passed away in 1966. Madge took over the farm with the help of her youngest son John. Due to climate changes and weather conditions, peaches became difficult to grow and the crops transferred over to apples and vegetables. John married his wife Lois in 1969 and they operated the farm together for 43 years. John lost his battle to cancer in 2013. Lois continues to bake her delicious pies and run the farm with the help of other family members. We strive to provide the freshest produce at the lowest prices. We value our customers and are so grateful for your support.
